Jess & Corey – The Down Town Club Wedding

OK, it’s about time I dust off the old blogging machine and share another wedding from our vaults.  It also helps that it snowed today and I don’t feel too guilty being in front of the computer for a while.  At any rate, here is Jess and Corey’s big day.  I’ve been wanting to share this one for a while because it has some of the best first dance shots I’ve ever taken.  Weddings are always ripe with emotion, and it’s a real treat when you can freeze a little moment of it for eternity.  That’s what I love about this job!  Keep an eye out for more!  -Matt

Caitlin & Doug – French Creek Golf Club Wedding

OK, so it’s been a while since we’ve blogged.   However, we still have plenty of awesome weddings to share with you!  Here’s another one we did earlier this season at French Creek Golf Club in Elverson, PA.  Caitlin and Doug tied the knot at St. Elizabeth’s parish in Chester Springs.  If you’ve never been there before, it’s a gorgeous church with plenty of natural light, which makes for some fantastic pictures during the ceremony.  From there we drove over to the golf club and used the amazing grounds to make some pictures with Caitlin, Doug, and their bridal party.  Topping it all off, Steve, from Silver Sound, did an incredible job keeping the party going to the wee hours.  We’ll be sure to get another post up here soon!  Happy Holidays!  -Matt

Jackie & Drew – The Atrium at the Curtis Center

Hello everyone!  I hope you’re all doing well and looking forward to a short work week.  It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is almost here!   We’ve been busy and have been meaning to share  more of the wonderful weddings we’ve photographed this season.  Here’s one from the end of the summer at the Curtis Center.  Jackie and Drew had a beautiful day for their big celebration.  We started out with the girls getting ready at the Morris House Hotel.  If you’ve never checked this place out, it’s worth a look (it would make for a great escape without going too far!).   From there we went to the gorgeous St Bridget’s Church in East Falls for their mass.  After that, we worked our way back to the city, stopping along the way to grab some photos of Jackie and Drew along Kelly Drive.  As for the reception, if you’ve never been to the Curtis Center, you’re missing out!  The folks at the Cescaphe Event Group did a wonderful job as usual.  Food and service was impeccable!  I also have to say a big thanks to Steve from Silver Sound DJs for doing an awesome job keeping the party going (hint: if you haven’t found a DJ yet, he’s your man!).  Congrats again Jackie and Drew!

Julie & Jesse – The Crystal Tea Room – Philadelphia Wedding Photography

A few weeks back we had the pleasure of working with yet another great couple on their wedding day, Julie and Jesse.  The two had chosen The Crystal Team Room in the Wanamaker Building as their wedding venue.  If you haven’t been there, it’s a gorgeous location with an amazing amount of room to have a celebration and get some great photographs.  Not to mention, the folks at Finley Catering do an amazing job taking care of their clients.  The food was delicious!  Earlier in the day, we made our way around the city for some pictures, making sure to hit some well known spots, like the Art Museum and Broad Street.  That’s the great thing about wedding photography in Philadelphia, there’s so many great locations to choose from!  Then it was time to head back to the Crystal Tea Room for some partying with the help of The Slippery Band.  Just another rough day at the office for us wedding photographers! ;-)  Congrats again Julie and Jesse!

Lauren & Bryan – Overbrook Golf Club Wedding

As wedding photographers, we feel very lucky to spend time with so many great people on such an amazing day.  This past summer was full of memorable occasions and lovely people that we’d love to share with you.  Lauren and Bryan met while attending Villanova University as undergrads.  Naturally, it was only fitting that they were married at the Chapel of St. Thomas on campus.  The Chapel of St. Thomas is a beautiful summertime wedding location that really lends itself to some gorgeous wedding photography.  From there, it was a short drive to Overbrook Golf Club in Radnor, where they celebrated with the help of The Benderz.  You need to book this band for your wedding!  They did an awesome job!  Topping the night off, the Villanova Wildcat made a special appearance at the wedding reception and helped to get things moving on the Overbrook dance floor.  Congrats again to Lauren and Bryan!  -Matt
